Regulatory Standards
Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) is the regulative body of the Healthcare Sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ensures excellence in Healthcare for the community by monitoring the health status of the population. In addition, DOH shapes the regulatory framework for the health system, inspects against regulations, enforces standards, and encourages adoption of world – class best practices and performance targets by all healthcare service providers in the Emirate.
PHS drives and reinforces the regulatory framework of DoH through implementation and conformance with the DoH standards and requirements. Moreover, PHS has undergone multiple DoH TASNEEF Audits – otherwise known as JAWDA Data Certification (JDC) – which assess and ensure that the JAWDA quality framework developed and established by DoH, JAWDA Home care Guidelines, are established, thus, applicable JAWDA Key Performance Indicators are effectively implemented and monitored.
PHS will continue to assess, monitor, implement, strengthen, and embrace improvements in collaboration with the audits conducted by DoH to further provide and achieve robust assurance that the facility is compliant with the methodologies, standards, and requirements defined by the DoH.
PHS aims to redefine and elevate the quality of specialized home care in the Middle East and Africa region and offer comprehensive services for all home care, rehabilitation or recuperative needs.
